Swiss Culinary Camp – Culinary classes

Your learning experience

What to expect

What to expect

A summer spent igniting your passion for culinary arts and learning more about the world of cuisine.

From 2026, students will be accommodated directly at our Le Bouveret campus (CAA), home to our state-of-the-art culinary facilities.* This means you’ll live and learn in the same environment as our full-time students, experiencing what it’s really like to study and train as a future chef.

Your days will be filled with dynamic practical and theoretical classes in real working kitchens, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and explore new culinary techniques. After class, you’ll enjoy dinner with friends, evening activities, and free time to relax by the beautiful Lake Geneva shoreline.

At the end of your camp, you’ll receive a certificate at our graduation ceremony — a great stepping stone toward your future career in the culinary world.

*If the number of students per week is fewer than 20, participants will possibly be housed in Montreux as in previous years, to preserve the student experience.

Courses for the Swiss Culinary Camp take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, in the morning and in the afternoon. Wednesday is dedicated to an excursion around the region. The fact that our courses explore different types of culinary traditions every week opens our program to students for a training of 1 to 4 weeks.

Teaching methods

Teachers are encouraged to use flexible and diverse teaching methods and techniques, making sure to fit the group and the specific needs of each student, covering a large range of topics and subjects. The small number of students per group (average of 12) makes it easier to ensure every student’s progress. Teachers have access to a wide array of equipment and accessories to help them create fun and interactive classes.

Your stay at the Swiss Education Academy camp will certainly help you with your language skills. Your progress will also depend on your personal investment and your motivation. The exceptional atmosphere of our courses will help you learn and make progress in a relaxed environment!.
